Hi I'm Jina, founder of Dokb Studio!

I was a Product Designer for over a decade and along the way I lost my passion and sense of identity for what I once loved—creating inspiring things I was proud of. A layoff prompted me to reflect and reimagine what I really wanted to do with my life going forward. Dokb Studio had always been a far dream, but as a full-time working mom, I never had the time to dedicate to it. Now, in perfect sync with the universe, the moment has finally arrived.

At Dokb Studio, we create clothing and lifestyle goods inspired by Asian art and culture, designed for creators, makers, and everyday dreamers. We celebrate creativity and community and collaborate with AAPI artists and small businesses to craft unique designs that resonate with Gen X, Y, and Z alike.

The Asian Girl Power Collection

What started off as a fun passion project to make matching t-shirts for my daughter and I during the pandemic, blossomed into something more. In May 2021, during AAPI Heritage Month, I ran my first fundraiser campaign by designing Asian Girl Power shirts with all proceeds going to a nonprofit. This was a way to support my community while spreading positivity and empowerment to Asian girls and women during a time when Asian hate was prevalent. The fundraiser's success surpassed my expectations and the overwhelming support and love I received—from friends, family, and even strangers—is what brought me here.
